Q: How old does my child have to be to attend and do they have to have speech-language needs?

A: We accept children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years.  We accept all children with or without speech-language needs. 


Q: Does my child need to be toilet trained?

A: No, we are willing to work with children who aren't quite toilet trained yet.


Q: Is there a toilet training fee?

A: Yes, there is a $40/month fee.


Q: What are your hours?

A: We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  We also offer after school speech-language therapy services for non-SOS students Monday through Friday in the afternoons.


Q: Do you offer a half-day preschool program?

A: Yes, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm is our half day program and we allow until 2:30 pm for pick up.


Q: Is there an additional fee for before and after school child care?

A: No, if your child is enrolled in the full-day preschool program, there is no additional fee for before and after school child care.


Q: What does your school calendar look like?  When are your breaks?

A: We have a year round program with a one-week spring break in March, a two-week summer break in July, a one-week Fall break in Oct and a two-week winter break in December.  We observe all state and federal holidays.  We have five staff professional development days per year when students do not report to school.  New students applications are accepted throughout the year.


Q: Is there an application fee?

A: Yes, there is a $50 application fee.


Q: Does tuition include meals?

A: Tuition includes morning and afternoon snacks. Lunch options are available for an additional monthly fee.


Q: Do you provide tuition assistance?

A: Not at this time, but we are working on it and it is one of our goals to provide our students with tuition assistance in the future.  Please contact us if you would like to be placed on our financial assistance waiting list and once we are able to provide tuition assistance we can give you a call.  Assistance will be based on family income.
